Kentucky Legislators Pass Resolution Supporting Gods Law – Gays Should Be Put To Death
The House of Representatives in Kentucky passed a resolution yesterday supporting the Manhattan Declaration. The Manhattan Declaration is a christian principals document sponsored and signed by many founding members of registered hate groups.
Here are some of the highlights from the christian churches Manhattan Declaration
- The Manhattan Declaration calls for christians to protect the unborn by killing Family Planning providers.
- The Manhattan Declaration equates Gay and Lesbian marriage with polygomy and incest. It considers Gays and Lesbians immoral and states that marriage is only for procreation. Marriage equality for Gays and Lesbian discriminates against christian and hurts their children. Legal Gay and Lesbian marriages should be ignored and rejected by christians. Civil marriage must follow gods word.
- The Manhattan Declaration states that christians should not be forced to hire anyone outside of their faith or someone they see as immoral.
- The Manhattan Declaration calls on christians to follow gods law and disregard the unjust laws of man that are in conflict with the word of god.
Frankly I don’t know what scares me more, the fact the Manhattan Declaration exists or that a state government actively supports it.
A RESOLUTION recognizing and honoring the efforts of those who have inspired thousands of Kentuckians with the Manhattan Declaration.
WHEREAS, on February 1, 2010, a group of pastors and Christian leaders from across Kentucky came to Frankfort to stand in solidarity with the Manhattan Declaration; and
WHEREAS, the Manhattan Declaration is a pronouncement of determination to answer the “call of Christian Conscience” by upholding the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife, and the rights of conscience and religious freedom; and
WHEREAS, leading Kentucky pastors coordinated this effort to publicly stand for those principles and express their determination to see them implemented in our culture; and
WHEREAS, these leaders called on individuals and elected officials throughout the Commonwealth to apply these principles, and proclaimed their unity as Christian leaders in Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, several hundred Kentuckians gathered to proclaim their support of the principles enunciated in the Manhattan Declaration; and
WHEREAS, the individuals who signed the Declaration on February 1, 2010, also indicated their support of the Kentucky Solidarity Statement, which read:We, the undersigned, do hereby unite our hearts in common purpose and endorse the Manhattan Declaration. We stand in solidarity with like-minded Christians throughout the United States and the Commonwealth of Kentucky in proclaiming our dedication to values that cannot be violated without dire consequences to our society. In obedience to God and His revelation in Christ, we call on Christians throughout Kentucky—pastors, laymen, public officials, and private citizens—to join with us in our commitment to the principles upon which our society was founded; NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
Section 2. The House of Representatives recognizes and honors the efforts of those who have inspired thousands of Kentuckians with the Manhattan Declaration.
Section 2. The House of Representatives further wishes great success to those who are committed to the principles upon which our Commonwealth and indeed the nation at large were founded, and appreciates the heartfelt motivation of those whose calling it is to minister to others even as they declare and advocate for truth.
It is a sad day when a state government supports such a bigoted document that excludes 30 percent of their citizens from gainful employment and condemns 10 percent to death.
The Kentucky house needs to remember the bloody history of the christian church. Millions of Gays and Lesbians were burned at the stake or stoned to death by the followers of christ down through the churches history. Today christians are responsible for the terrible environment of homophobia that permeates the United States and drives thousands of Gay and Lesbian youth to commit suicide every year and encourages discrimination and violence against all in our community. Additionally the christian church is pushing legislation in many countries condemning people who were born Gay or Lesbian to death.
Gods law in Leviticus 20:13 demands that all Gays be put to death. Let’s hope Kentucky’s next resolution does not enact gods law!
