Priest Defends Pope, Blames “Lavender Mafia” For Churches Problem
Here is today’s attempt at blaming the catholic churches pedophile priest problems on the Gay and Lesbian community. I particularly like the claim that the church is being ran by the lavender mafia who support pedophile priests.
If the Vatican is being ran by Gays then why is the catholic church the most vocal opponents of Gay and Lesbian rights in the United States? Why is the catholic church one of the three biggest funders of the discriminatory “traditional marriage” amendments? Why does the catholic church kick out Gay and Lesbian church members?
“International communism and masonry infiltrated the Catholic priesthood back in the late 1940s and a relentless battle has taken place to try and destroy the Catholic priesthood.
“The present crisis has nothing to do with women not being priests or priestly celibacy. The Catholic priesthood has been purposely infiltrated by a homosexual sub-culture, commonly known among faithful Catholic priests as the lavender mafia.
“This is not to say that every homosexual man is a child molester. However, studies have shown that the vast majority of abuse cases in the Catholic Church deal with boys over the age of 15. This affirms a problem with homosexuality. Homosexuals need healing and therapy, not positions of authority.
“Bishops, Vatican and/or chancery officials covered up abuse cases because they were blind or because they were part of the problem.”
And, yes, there is research to back up Father Farfaglia’s assertions.
Again to make the point this catholic tool drags out a bunch of discredited studies based on media coverage of child molesters and prison populations to prove the link between homosexuals and pedophiles.
Here is what the psychiatric and medical communities in America think about the link between pedophilia and the Gay and Lesbian community.
The biggest misunderstanding many people have is that pedophilia and homosexuality are one and the same. But to say that all homosexuals are pedophiles, or that all pedophiles are homosexual, is like comparing apples to rat poison. “They certainly are two distinct things,” says James Hord, a psychologist in Panama City, Fla., who specializes in treating sexually abused children.
Hord explains that while some pedophiles may prefer boys over girls, or vice versa, it’s not so much about gender as it is about age. For homosexuals, Hord says, sexual preference is “simply not linked to the age.” If a man, for instance, is attracted to other adult males, he is a homosexual. A man who is sexually attracted to male children is not considered a homosexual: He is a pedophile.
As with all things sexual, however, it’s not always so simple. Heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual men and women may become sexually attracted to children even though they’re also attracted to adults. When this happens, it’s usually because of insecurity or stress in an adult relationship, says Anthony Siracusa, a psychologist in Williamstown, Mass., who specializes in treating abused kids and sexual offenders.
These people, Siracusa says, are called “regressed offenders” because they have literally regressed: They lose the social skills they need to deal with other adults, which makes children more attractive to them. Regressed offenders may “bounce back and forth” between normal sexual relationships and criminal relations with children.
Insecurity, Hord agrees, is at the heart of pedophilia. Typically, pedophiles have trouble relating to people their own age. They need to feel they have power and control in a relationship, which is easy with children.
Mental health professionals agree that pedophilia should never be considered normal, because it is truly a disease. None of the things that make homosexuality a normal variation of human sexuality apply to pedophilia.
It is time for all christian ministries to take some responsibility for the damage they have done to society. 30 years of pushing an agenda of discrimination and violence against the Gay and Lesbian community has finally worn thin on the American people. The moral decadence and special privilege enjoyed by the ministry is coming to an end. America will no longer tolerate the abuses done by the christian church in the name of god.
The reason that more boys are raped by pedophile priests is simple. Pedophile priests have access to boys. Pedophilia is a result of stunted sexual development, which all catholic priests have. The pedophile priest will seek out a victim looking for those they can control, the sex of the victim is irrelevant.
Fact: The catholic church made the pedophile priests by suppressing their natural sexual needs and development.
The virulently homophobic catholic church could easily root out the handful of truly Gay priests if this was really a homosexual issue. There are tests that can be administered in the seminary to determine if the priest is Gay. Pedophile priests are a systemic problem with the catholic church it has nothing to do with the Gay and Lesbian community.
