U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Study Determines No Link Between Rapist Priests and Homosexuality
Child raping catholic priests abuse boys the same way convicted prisoners sexually abuse weaker prisoners. The catholic priest molestation scandal and Vatican cover-up have nothing to do with the Gay and Lesbian community. It is shameful that many in the catholic leadership are scapegoating a minority to deflect hostilities from their child raping priests.
John Jay, researcher for the Catholic Church, states no link between homosexual abuse, homosexuality.
It is an “unwarranted conclusion” to assert that the majority of priests who abused children are homosexuals, according to a data analyst for a study on clerical abuse conducted on behalf of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
“The majority of the abusive acts were homosexual in nature,” notes Margaret Smith. “That participation in homosexual acts is not the same as sexual identity as a gay man.”
