Baptist Minister And Presidential Contender Mike Huckabee Calls For Execution Of Gay Soldier
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal
Bradley Manning, the Gay soldier who leaked 250,000 diplomatic cables to WikiLeaks, was forced to endure the heinous and discriminatory Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy while guarding some of the most critical secrets held by the United States…a country that claims to love freedom from oppression and equality for all. Apparently soldier Manning could no longer stomach the raw hypocrisy of a country that champions equality around the globe yet denies equality to 10% of it’s population at home.
Manning, legally bound to lie about being a Gay American or face discharge, simply took action against his oppressor with the tools he had. A very American thing to do.
Now many christians, including baptist minister and presidential contender Mike Huckabee, are calling for Manning’s execution for treason.
The person that gave WikiLeaks 250,000 secret diplomatic cables deserves to die, says one Fox News host who is widely thought to be planning a 2012 presidential run.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was caught on video at a book signing at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, Calif. saying that the leaker should be executed.
“Whoever in our government leaked that information is guilty of treason,” Huckabee said. “I think anything less than execution is too kind a penalty.”
If a closeted Gay soldier working in the Iranian defense department leaked sensitive documents to protest the islamic governments execution of Gays, the United States would hold him up as a hero for resisting the oppressive regime. But a Gay American soldier resisting the oppressive christian regime in the United States deserves death. How is that for hypocrisy.
Manning is not a traitor, he is a solder fighting for freedom against the christian regime masquerading as the United States government. That government is denying equality to Gay and Lesbian Americans and endorses our continued persecution.
Baptist minister Huckabee opposes equality for Gay and Lesbian Americans and any executive order issued from President Huckabee could easily involve boxcars and camps for those in our community. Ask yourself this. If Manning were a straight white christian acting on religious convictions would 2012 presidential contender Mike Huckabee call for his execution…I think not.
