David Kato, a leading Gay rights activist in Uganda, was executed in his Kampala home Wednesday at the urging of American christian ministries.

Prominent christiain ministers based in the United States have worked tirelessly for the past couple of years to get legislation passed in Uganda that would round up and executes Gays and Lesbians. Apparently the Ugandan christians were unwilling to wait for the legally sanctioned genocide and acted without government support.

President Obama today issued a statement condemning the execution of David Kato and recommitted the United States to work towards equality for Gay and Lesbian people in countries around the world.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the murder of David Kato. In Uganda, David showed tremendous LGBT activist David Kato of Uganda courage in speaking out against hate. He was a powerful advocate for fairness and freedom. The United States mourns his murder, and we recommit ourselves to David’s work.

At home and around the world, LGBT persons continue to be subjected to unconscionable bullying, discrimination, and hate.

In the weeks preceding David Kato’s murder in Uganda, five members of the LGBT community in Honduras were also murdered. It is essential that the Governments of Uganda and Honduras investigate these killings and hold the perpetrators accountable.

LGBT rights are not special rights; they are human rights. My Administration will continue to strongly support human rights and assistance work on behalf of LGBT persons abroad. We do this because we recognize the threat faced by leaders like David Kato, and we share their commitment to advancing freedom, fairness and equality for all.

A Washington D.C. minister called for civil war after the United States Supreme Court rejected a christian coalitions bid to place a discriminatory marriage resolution before the residents of our nations capital.

Rev. Anthony Evans, a D.C. minister who is working with Jackson to overturn the D.C. same-sex marriage law, called the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear the Jackson case “a travesty of justice.”

“This law was forced down the church’s throat and what the Supreme Court has set up is the greatest civil war between the church and the gay community,” Evans said.

Evans went on to say that of course the christian church loves the “dirty homosexual” but must be allowed the religious freedom to legally discriminate against those they view as morally impure…or else!

Reverend Evans is echoing the growing violent rhetoric heard in christian churches around the country. Many chrisitan ministers are calling for their congregants to arm themselves and defend America against the Gay and Lesbian threat. Still others are urging christians to disregard equality legislation in conflict with biblical law.

The call for revolution is particularly alarming considering the ultimate goal of christianity places the United States under biblical law.

“The Christian goal for the world,” theologian David Chilton has explained, is “the universal development of Biblical theocratic republics.” Scripturally based law would be enforced by the state with a stern rod in these republics.

New Republican Leaders Pledged Allegiance To Registered Christian Hate Groups

Christian Hate Groups Lobbying To Kill Gays

Key leaders in the Republican party recently pledged their allegiance and support to several christian hate groups listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) for spreading lies and promoting violence against Gay and Lesbian Americans.

A number of high-profile Republicans have signed an online petition denouncing the Southern Poverty Law Center for designating several anti-gay religious organizations as hate groups.

SPLC recently added the Family Research Council, the American Family Association and the National Organization for Marriage to the same list of hate groups as the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Nations. SPLC said the Christian groups were added because they spread malicious lies about gay people that provoke hatred and violence toward them.

Among those lies are the claims that gays are more likely to sexually abuse children and to die young due to their unhealthy lifestyle. Some of the anti-gay claims made by the designated groups mirror myths that Nazis spread about Jews to incite violence against them.

Majority Leader-elect Eric Cantor, House Speaker-elect John Boehner, presidential hopefuls Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee, U.S. Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Louie Gohmert of Texas, and South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint have all signed the petition defending the designated hate groups.

“We, the undersigned, stand in solidarity with Family Research Council, American Family Association, Concerned Women of America, National Organization for Marriage, Liberty Counsel and other pro-family organizations that are working to protect and promote natural marriage and family,” the open letter, sponsored by the FRC, reads. “We support the vigorous but responsible exercise of the First Amendment rights of free speech and religious liberty that are the birthright of all Americans.”

The letter claims that SPLC “targeted FRC and other organizations that uphold Judeo-Christian moral views, including marriage as the union of a man a woman.”

Many of the christian organizations listed by the SPLC are actively working with governments around the world, including the United States, to criminalize homosexuality and put Gays and Lesbians to death. To promote their agenda of hate these christian ministries push the discredited lies that homosexuals are pedophiles and that Nazi leadership was dominated by Gay Germans.

Tying the Gay and Lesbian equality movement to hated child molesters and Nazi movement is an effective means of generating violence against homosexuals not only in America but around the world. This tactic is very effective especially in developing countries such as Kenya and Uganda. Both countries, at the urging of christian ministries in the United States, are working on legislation that imprisons people hiding homosexuals and executes Gays and Lesbians for crimes against god and nature.

The fear is not that these Republican’s will pass discriminatory legislation against Gays and Lesbians, it won’t happen on the federal level. The concern is that these key legislators give a voice to the christian hate groups and legitimize their lies.

Make no mistake, the lies being pushed by these christian hate groups are crafted to maximize violence against the Gay and Lesbian community. The Nazi’s used this same tactic against Jewish citizens and Gays in the 1930′ to great effectiveness. The Klan used it to stir anger against Blacks in America’s south. The result being many dark skinned Americans hanging from the end of a noose.

By the way the SPLC was instrumental in neutering both the Klan and the neo-Nazi movement in the United States.

Every time Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (registered hate group) goes on CNN spreading the lie that Gays are molesting and recruiting children the potential for violence against our community increases dramatically. If these registered hate groups use their champions in the Republican hierarchy to help spread their hate filled lies we are looking at dark and violent times ahead.

Kenya Orders Gays Arrested – Caves To American Christian Influence

Succumbing to pressure from wealthy christian ministries in the United States, Kenya’s government joined it’s neighbor Uganda in condemning Gays and Lesbians ordering their arrest on Sunday.

Nairobi, Kenya, Nov 28 – Prime Minister Raila Odinga has ordered a nationwide crackdown on homosexuals in Kenya.

Mr Odinga on Sunday said that police should arrest anyone found engaging in such behaviours and take appropriate legal action against them.

“We will not tolerate such behaviours in the country. The constitution is very clear on this issue and men or women found engaging in homosexuality will not be spared,” Mr Odinga said.

Wealthy churches and christian advocacy groups located in the United States have given millions of dollars to African preachers and government officials in an attempt to integrate biblical law into constitutional legal systems.

Christian groups like the American Center for Law and Justice have even opened offices in the region and actively work against reproductive rights as well as Gay and Lesbian equality.

Christians represent almost 80 percent of the population in both Kenya and Uganda. This is a huge market for American based christian ministries. Many have established churches in the two nations and are quickly recouping financial loses from falling membership in the United States. Prosperity based christian ministries in particular have flourished in this impoverished part of the world.

Prosperity gospel is a religious belief found among Christians, primarily in the United States, centered on the notion that God provides material prosperity for those he favors. It has been defined by the belief that “Jesus blesses believers with riches” or more specifically as the teaching that “believers have a right to the blessings of health and wealth and that they can obtain these blessings through positive confessions of faith and the “sowing of seeds” through the faithful payments of tithes and offerings.

The problem with christian prosperity ministries is that the pastor is the only one to prosper. When jesus fails to deliver for the flock, an immoral scapegoat is needed to keep the congregation in check and the cash flowing. For the past ten years sexual orientation has been included in the reoccurring resolution. This action greenlights proposed legislation in several countries seeking genocide against their Gay and Lesbian citizens.

The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) and ARC International are deeply disappointed with yesterday’s vote in the Third Committee of the United Nations General Assembly to remove a reference to sexual orientation from a resolution on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions. The resolution urges States to protect the right to life of all people, including by calling on states to investigate killings based on discriminatory grounds. For the past 10 years, the resolution has included sexual orientation in the list of discriminatory grounds on which killings are often based.

In the United States christian organizations lobbied U.N. member nations to have Gay and Lesbian protections pulled from the resolution against executions opening the door for a bible based legal system in America similar to sharia law in Iran.

The American Family Association and Liberty Counsel both actively lobby for the jailing and execution of Gays and Lesbians around the globe. Sadly they are now one step closer to instituting their bible based genocide against the Gay and Lesbian community.

In the United States the victories by christian conservatives in the recent election demonstrate a trend towards adoption of a bible based legal system. Last year Ugandan lawmakers working with christian organizations in the United States drafted legislation seeking the death penalty for all Gay and Lesbian residents in the country. The law supports the christian bibles mandate that homosexuals be put to death.

The anti-Gay hysteria whipped up by christian ministries based in the United States has come full bloom as newspapers in Uganda begin publishing the names and addresses of Gays and Lesbians living in the country. The articles, which include photos, calls for the public to hunt down and hang every Gay and Lesbian on the list.

A Ugandan newspaper published a story featuring a list of the nation’s “top” gays and lesbians with their photos and addresses, angering activists who say the already marginalized group risks facing further attacks.

Earlier this month, Rolling Stone newspaper — not affiliated with the U.S. magazine with the same name — featured 100 pictures of Uganda’s gays and lesbians. Next to the list was a yellow strip with the words “hang them.”

The story comes about a year after a Ugandan lawmaker introduced a measure that calls for the death penalty or long jail terms for those who engage in some homosexual activities.

The American Family Association (AFA) continued the christian campaign of persecution against Gays and Lesbians yesterday when they published a Liberty Counsel article chastising the United Nations for even considering equality for all citizens of the global community. To paraphrase Matt Barber, the Liberty Counsel’s minister of propaganda, “sexual morality and traditional values can only blossom when all homosexuals have been rounded up and exterminated”.

The United Nations is pressing for acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle worldwide, which was made evident during a recent human rights meeting in Geneva.

A written statement from Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on U.N. members to abolish laws that discriminate against homosexuals. The statement comes two months after a homosexual activist group received U.N. accreditation.

Matt Barber “The United Nations just continues to spiral further and further down into the abyss of irrelevancy,” laments Matt Barber, director of cultural affairs at Liberty Counsel. “Their radical, leftist, post-modern secular humanist, globalist agenda is just as clear as it has ever been.”

That agenda has become a point of concern for some countries that depend on the United Nations and its agencies, but Barber points out that at the same time, “this is why so many nations around the world that embrace traditional values, that embrace sexual morality, have really written the U.N. off as an extremist conglomerate of really left-wing “wacktivists.”

Barber and the other leading members of christianity are working tirelessly with foreign leaders on legislation allowing Gay and Lesbian citizens to be executed for crimes against christian morality. Uganda is a showcase country for the christians. State sanctioned and church blessed death squads scour the cities capturing and executing Gays. Gleeful christians cheer the death squads on.

Stopping genocide is one of the reasons the United Nations was established. Of course groups like the American Family Association and Liberty Counsel want to eliminate this organization because it stands in the way of their establishment of one world religion under the control of radical christianity.

Ugandans Use Christian Bible To Justify Ritual Sacrifice of Children

The christian ministries in the United States who are working tirelessly to help Uganda pass a bill that would put Gays and Lesbians to death should direct that attention to the barbaric christian churches in Uganda promoting the ritual sacrifice of children. Thousands of christians protest in the streets demanding that all Gays and Lesbians be put to death in accordance with the bible. These same christians stand by and let church leaders sacrifice children to bring congregants wealth and health.

Caroline Aya was playing in front of her house in January when a neighbor put a cloth over her mouth and fled with her.

A couple of days later, the 8-year-old’s body was found a short walk away – with her tongue cut out. Police believe she was offered up as a human sacrifice in a ritual killing, thought to bring wealth or health.

Children in particular are common victims, according to a U.S. State Department report released this month. The U.S. spent $500,000 to train 2,000 Ugandan police last year to investigate offenses related to human trafficking, including ritual killings.

The problem is bad enough that last year the police established an Anti-Human Sacrifice Taskforce. Posters on police station walls show a sinister stranger luring two young girls into a car below bold letters that call on parents to “Prevent Child Sacrifice.”

Human sacrifices have been recorded throughout history and occur still in many countries, including India, Indonesia, South Africa, Gabon and Tanzania. One traditional healer in Uganda, when asked about the phenomenon, pointed to the story told in the Bible’s book of Genesis, when God asked Abraham to sacrifice a son.

“I call it a problem of psychological disorientation,” said Binoga. “People get disoriented. People stop having respect in humanity and believe more in the worth of money and so-called good fortune, and they lose that natural social respect for people.”

Many complained of police corruption, slow investigations and a lack of convictions by the country’s lethargic courts, words that drew loud cheers from the emotional crowd. Of about 30 people charged with ritual killing last year, nobody has yet been convicted. The last conviction was in 2007.

“There is a lack of political will to protect the children. We have beautiful laws but a lack of political will,” said Haruna Mawa, the spokesman for the child protection agency ANPPCAN. “As long as we keep our laws in limbo we are creating a fertile breeding ground for human and child sacrifice to escalate. No convictions. What message are you giving to the police?”

“You can’t keep holding onto a child very tightly. Children move freely,” Kyankya said. “So people get scared that there are such vices in the country.”

American Based Christian Ministries Pushed Ugandan “Kill The Gays Bill”

Here is an interesting article on the United States christian influences behind the Ugandan “kill the Gays bill”.

During the Bush years, Uganda became a magnet for American evangelicals, a proving ground for their ill-conceived abstinence-only program. One of the evangelicals who grabbed onto Uganda as a vindication of Christian public sex-policy was Rick Warren, head of the Saddleback Church where Obama and McCain held their now-famous campaign debate. He visited the country in 2008 and, in a highly publicized speech, compared homosexuality to pedophilia. Following the theme of his best-selling book, Warren praised Uganda as a “purpose-driven country.” (It should be noted that when the full consequences of the Anti-Homosexuality Bill were publicized in the U.S., Warren made a hasty retreat, insisting that his role had been misunderstood.)

A month before the anti-gay bill was introduced, in March 2009, three American Christian evangelicals participated in a leadership-training conference, “Seminar on Exposing the Homosexual Agenda,” held in Kampala and sponsored by Langa’s Family Life Network. The seminar was called in response to a 2008 Uganda High Court decision that found that it was unconstitutional to discriminate against homosexuals.

The Americas who participated were Scott Lively, founder of Abiding Truth Ministries and editor of “The Pink Swastika,” a work that blames homosexuals for the Holocaust and attempts to link the gay-rights movement to the Nazis; Don Schmierer, a board member of Exodus International and representing the International Healing Ministries who advocates “curing” homosexuals; and Caleb Lee Brundidge, an African-American who describes himself as a former gay man and leads “healing seminars” that “rehabilitate” homosexuals and lesbians.

Brundidge and Lively advocated keeping homosexuality illegal but proposed giving those convicted the choice of prison or undergoing approved “therapy” to cure them of their gayness. Schmierer took a similar line, telling those in attendance that homosexuals could be converted into heterosexuals. (Like Warren, when the full story of the anti-gay bill became public, these artfully dodgers retreated, claiming they were innocent due to ignorance as what was really going on in Uganda.)

However, the anti-gay crusade in Uganda and other parts of English-speaking Africa is led by the ill-named Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD), a Washington, DC., neo-con think tank. Its efforts are directed at challenging mainline Protestant denominations like the National Council of Churches over their more liberal positions regarding U.S. domestic and foreign policies. The battle over gay rights has become especially acute, particularly the ordination of gay and lesbian priests, same sex marriage and openly gays attending worship ceremonies. The IRD strongly supports the Anti-Homosexuality Bill.

These christian organizations are pushing the completely fraudulent claim that Gay and Lesbian people can be cured of their homosexual lifestyle. Every accredited psychological and medical organization in America states that sexual orientation is fixed at birth and cannot be changed.
